QFX5100 Switch

QFX5100 switches are flexible data center switching platforms that provide a universal building block for multiple fabric architectures, including Juniper’s mixed 1/10/40GbE Virtual Chassis, Virtual Chassis Fabric, Junos Fusion and QFabric® System architectures, as well as open architectures such as Spine and Leaf, Layer 3 and Open Clos IP fabrics. All QFX5100 switches support unified in-service software upgrades (unified ISSU) to deliver hitless data center operations for high availability.

QFX5100 switches also include support for virtualized network environments including Juniper Contrail and VMware NSX Layer 2 gateway services.

 

 

QFX3600 Switch

The QFX3600 is a high-performance, low-latency, feature-rich Layer 2 and Layer 3 switch optimized for virtualized data center deployments. It can be used in seamless Juniper 1/10/40GbE architectures such as Virtual Chassis, Virtual Chassis Fabric, and QFabric deployments, as well as in open architectures such as Spine and Leaf and Layer 3.

The QFX3600 40GbE switch has 16 quad small form-factor pluggable plus (QSFP+) ports to deliver feature-rich Layer 2 and Layer 3 connectivity to high-performance networked data center devices.

For added flexibility, all QFX3600 ports can be used as 4x10GbE ports using QSFP+ to SFP+ direct attach copper (DAC) or QSFP+ to SFP+ fiber splitter cables and optics.

 

QFX3500 Switch

High-performance, ultra-low latency, feature-rich L2/L3 switch delivers wire-speed 10GbE throughput and standards-based Fibre Channel I/O convergence capabilities for the most demanding data center environments while providing a fabric-ready solution for Juniper's QFabric architecture.

The QFX3500 switch delivers a high-performance, ultra low latency, feature rich L2 and L3 solution for supporting a wide range of deployment scenarios including traditional and virtualized data centers, high-performance computing, network-attached storage, converged server I/O, and cloud computing. A versatile, compact, high-density 10GbE platform that runs the same Junos OS as other Juniper switches, routers and security platforms, the QFX3500 also delivers a fabric-ready edge solution for the Juniper Networks QFabric architecture.
